MTN is here again to rescue us with their newly introduced night plan of 500MB for just N25, valid from 12am midnight to 4am every night. This is a better data plan for those that are fun of streaming, movie lovers, games addicted, smartphone and system updating, apps, music, etc, this is actually a cheap bundle you can try.

To Get MTN 500MB for N25
» Your MTN sim must be on the MTN Pulse tariff plan, but if you are not sure of the plan you are already on, simply dial *123# to confirm which plan you are on or just dial *406# to migrate to MTN Pulse plan.
» Make sure you have a minimum of N25 in your phone
» Send NIGHT to 131 via SMS and you’ll get a message like this “Dear customer, you have successfully subscribed to Free Night Browsing between 00:00 and 04:00. N25 has been deducted from your account.”

Note: Every SIM card is entitled to a one time activation per night, but if you have more than one MTN sim, you can get as much as 2GB at the cheap price of N100 with 4 different MTN sim cards. Remember that, this plan is usable only within 12am – 4am. Enjoy it while it last.

 Africa’s telecommunication giant MTN rolled out new tariff plan for data subscribers. Customers on the network can now browse the internet on cheaper data rates compared to what was obtainable in the past.

With just 1,000 naira, customers can subcribe to 1.5 gigabite data bundle, same data volume was sold as high as 3,500 naira in their previous data bundle plans.

Glo was offering 24GB for only 8,000 before but
the same ₦8,000 will now get you a whopping
48GB. Right now, ₦1000 will get you 2GB on the

One thing is certain, the network quality will
suffer a hit as the new data plans have attracted
quite a lot of subscribers. Glo has great data
plans but one thing a lot of people complain
about is the network quality. The 3G speed is
sometimes is worse than EDGE in certain areas
though this isn't the same everywhere.

As much as this gesture from Glo is appreciated, something has to be done about the poor network quality in quite a lot of locations. It remains to be seen if MTN, Airtel and Etisalat will further reduce their prices. The competition is still on and the consumers are loving it.
